PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting and classifying a weight of a fruit is provided to reduce a weight error range of the fruit by detecting and classifying automatically the weight of the fruit and to provide a facility of a usage. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting and classifying a weight of a fruit comprises a power input display device, a microprocessor(100) for controlling an entire operation of the fruit weight selector, an input device(110) for inputting a range of a reference set value of the fruit to be classified to the microprocessor(100), an alarm generating device(120), a bucket position detector(130) for detecting whether a bucket is placed at a load cell or not, a weight detector(140) for detecting the weight of the fruit placed at the bucket, a fruit selector for classifying the fruit based on the detected weight, and a plurality of counter(181¯196) for counting an operation of the fruit selector(160). The apparatus for detecting and classifying a weight of a fruit comprises a display device(190) for indicating the reference set value and the sugar content simultaneously, a RAM(200) for storing the reference set value and the detected weight value, a ROM(210) for storing a program performing an entire operation, a latch(220) for converting the weight value into an address data, and a decoder(240) for controlling operating signals of the RAM, the ROM, the display device and the fruit selector.
