PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, capable of reproducing an input original in specified colors through comparatively easy processing and improving gradation characteristics in the case of conversion to the specified colors. SOLUTION: This image processor has an input means for inputting color image data, a density converting means for converting the inputted color image data to density signals and expressing the input signals in the specified colors, a mixing rate operating means for operating the mixing rate of color agents to be used for expressing the specified colors, and a new coefficient calculating means for operating an existent masking coefficient, on the basis of the mixing rate provided by the mixing rate operating means and calculating a new coefficient for reproducing the specified colors.
