PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logical architecture for efficiently composing a multicomponent sine curve signal. SOLUTION: A coprocessor 15 for composing a signal from the sum of a sign curve is included in an electronic system provided with a host processor 12 for transferring a frame boundary parameter to it. A parameter register 26 in the coprocessor stores a composite parameter for repeatedly obtaining amplitude and a phase with respect to each sample point of a data frame. Adders 28, 30 and 32 generate a present amplitude and phase, and adding results are returned to the parameter register to be stored. A sine function calculation circuit 34 receives the present amplitude and phase, and generates a digital component signal with respect to a present sample point to one of the sine curves. The digital component signal is accumulated in a data sample buffer 40 and final digital components are given to the host processor by an output 44. |
