PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device where plural image carriers are arrayed in a transfer material carrying direction, a toner image formed on the image carrier is transferred to transfer material and toner left after transfer adhering to the surface of the image carrier after transferring the toner image is removed by a cleaning device; and in which image quality is prevented from being deteriorated by paper powder included in the toner left after transfer in the case of providing a toner returning means for returning the toner left after transfer removed by the cleaning device to the cleaning device. SOLUTION: The toner returning means is provided only between the cleaning devices 27M, 27C and 27BK removing the toner left after transfer from the image carriers 2M, 2C and 2BK other than the image carrier 2Y on the most upstream side in the transfer material carrying direction and developing devices 22M, 22C and 22BK. |
