PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water drain structure of a vehicle lamp unit that drains water to prevent from being immersed without forming a drain hole in the lens. SOLUTION: The bulb housing 1 has an engaging groove 4 partially provided with a deep groove part 41. A packing 10 is provided with a drain cut 44 formed above a leg 22 of a lens 20 to drain water from the groove part at the lens side of the deep groove 41 to a groove part 41a at the bottom side. The bulb housing 1 is also provided with a drain hole 40 communicating with the groove part 41a below the packing 10 of the deep groove 41.
