PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium in which both of the detected signal corresponding to reproduction controlling information and the tracking error signal by a push-pull method can be obtained with sufficient quality when the reproduction controlling information is reproduced from a reproduction-only area formed in a DVD-RW according to the standard. SOLUTION: The DVD-RW 1 in which information is optically recorded and reproduced while servo control is performed by a push-pull method has a recording and reproducing region DA and a reproduction-only region RA. The region DA has groove tracks continuously formed as wobbling in which information is recorded and reproduced by a phase transition method by using a light beam at >=630 nm and <=680 nm wavelength. In the region RA, a plurality of phase pits having >=60 nm and <=90 nm depth are preliminarily formed as wobbling and only reproduction of information with a light beam can be carried out.
