PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation in dust-proofness by infeasibility of covering an aperture for a turntable and the instability of loading to a disk device. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge rotatably houses a disk-like medium 2 and includes a mechanism which has a first shutter 3 for opening and closing at least one aperture for recording or reproducing information to or from the disk-like medium 2 and a second shutter 6 for opening and closing the aperture 12 for supporting the disk-like medium 2 on the turntable of the disk device and opens and closes the second shutter 6 cooperatively with the opening and closing action of the first shutter 3. A notched part 3a is formed at the outer edge of the shutter 3 and the surface of a cartridge body 1 exposed by forming the notched part 3a is formed as a height reference plane F.
