PERIPEHRAL EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily register resources of peripheral equipments in a computer. SOLUTION: When a font is downloaded from an administrator's PC 3 to a printer 6, the font is sent to a server 2 and stored. Client PCs 4 and PC 5 when using the printer 6 acquire a file wherein information on resources which the printer 6 has including the downloaded font is gathered and registers the information of the resources that the printer 6 has according to the file. A client PC is able to use all the resources of the printer 6 by referring to the registered information.
