<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a down-sizing of a connector by making a terminal pitch small. SOLUTION: A U-shaped connecting piece 23 with a pair of arms 23b, 23c extended backward is provided at a rear end of a terminal for a flat circuit body 20. Piercing pieces 24 are provided at inward facing parts of the arms, contacting and conducting with a core wire inside an insulator, piercing the insulator toward thickness direction, of a flat circuit body 10, when they are bent toward each other around the axis of the base part of the arms. The piercing pieces 24 are made up of wedge-shaped plates parallel to the face along the bending direction of the arms 23b, 23c. Terminal chambers 31 are formed in a row in a connector housing 30, and top and bottom covers 35, 36 are provided through a hinge 34 at rear ends of an upper wall 30a and a bottom wall 30b. Front parts of terminals 20 are contained in each terminal chamber of the connector housing, and the arms of the connecting piece 23 provided at the rear end of the terminal are arranged along the inner face of the top and bottom covers.</p> |
