PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent transmission by every other speed change without any transmission shock or delay in transmission operation while reducing and suppressing the size of a transmission thought the number of gear stages is increased. SOLUTION: This transmission comprises two input shafts 108 and 122 parallel to an output shaft 130, a plurality of drive gears 110, 112, 124 and 126 disposed on both input shafts, a plurality of driven gears 132, 134, 136 and 138 engaged with the corresponding drive gears disposed on the output shaft, gear selection mechanisms 114, 128 provided on both input shafts and connected to the input shafts by selecting either drive gear, first and second input drive gears 106, 118 as power transmission mechanisms to drive the power to one input shaft to the other input shaft, first and second clutches 104 and 120 disposed on both input shafts between the drive gear and the power transmission mechanism, an idler gear 116 driven by one input shaft via the power transmission mechanism, and a third clutch 140 to connect the transmission gear and the output shaft. |
