PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can smoothly rotate a projected image and also can decide the direction from which the projected image under display is projected despite its repetitive rotations. SOLUTION: When MIP images are rotated, rotation by the continuous production and display of the images is not performed but a regular octahedron as shown in Fig. 2 is displayed and rotated. The MIP images from each direction are pasted on every face of the regular octahedron so that a projected image can be watched even during rotation of these MIP images. |
