PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona electrifier prevented from being damaged when a user performs cleaning operation for a corona discharge wire. SOLUTION: In the destaticizing electrifier (corona electrifier) 13 equipped with a scraper (wire cleaner member) 102 for removing an adhesive matter adhering to the corona discharge wire 101 by moving along the wire 101 while abutting on the wire 101, and a cleaner grip (bar-like member) 105 coupled with the scraper 102, the grip 105 is made rotatable. By this electrifier, rotational force is not transmitted to the scraper 102 at the time of cleaning operation for the wire 101. Even when the user slants the grip 105 and pulls it out from the inside of a main body, the rotational force is not transmitted to the scraper 102, so that the scraper 102 is not slanted, the twisting of the wire 101 is prevented and the electrifier 13 is prevented from being damaged.
