PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent actuation errors by preventing a liquid applied to doors from entering the case part of a lock device. SOLUTION: The longitudinal case part 1 is constructed of a body section 2 and a lid plate 3 closing one side of the body section 2, and a lifting member 5 serving as an actuating part is enclosed in an actuating part storage space 4 inside the case part 1. The lifting member 5 is journaled to the vertical mid part of the body section 2 and is moved vertically by rotation of an operating lever 7 about a horizontal axis, the lever being exposed to the outside through an opening 6 in the front end of the case part 1 formed by the body section 2 and the lid plate 3. An opening 12 for fitting a lock bar 11 therein is formed in the upper end of the case part 1 formed by the body section 2 and the lid plate 3, and the lower end of the lock bar 11 inserted through the opening 12 is connected to the upper end of the lifting member 5. The case part 1 except its mounting sections for the operating lever 7 and for the lock bar 11 is held closed.
