PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio communication system that can suitably maintain excellent communication quality by preparing a plurality of communication paths for one communication system and selecting an optimum routing. SOLUTION: In the mobile radio communication system 101, an outdoor radio base station 103 and a mobile terminal 105 make communication with a microwave frequency band, an indoor radio base station 104 and the mobile terminal 105 connected to a radio adaptor 111 make communication with a millimeter frequency band, a control station 102 and the outdoor radio base station 103 are connected through a wired or wirelessly, the control station 102 and the indoor radio base station 104 are connected through optical fibers 106, 113, and the mobile terminal 105 and the control station 102 communicate with each other via the indoor radio base station 104 when available or via the outdoor radio base station 103 when not available.
