PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation type original plate for a planographic printing plate which has a hydrophilic layer having high hydrophilic property and is excellent in adhesion to an ink receiving layer, ensures improved staining property, gives a stain-free print even under severe printing conditions, can be imagewise exposed by scanning exposure with laser light or the like in a short time and attains plate making by easy water development or attains plate making without requiring development after direct attachment to a printing machine. SOLUTION: The original plate has a hydrophilic layer comprising a high molecular compound which bonds directly and chemically to the surface of the substrate and has a hydrophilic functional group on the substrate and an ink receiving layer which can be ablated on the hydrophilic layer. |
