PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building wherein the entire frame structure comprising a floor slab of a first floor is jacked up with no additional interior decoration cost. SOLUTION: A first-floor floor slab 25 is formed in a frame structure 24, and a lower end part 27 of a pillar 26 constituting the frame structure 24 protrudes below the first-floor floor slab 25. The lower end part 27 of the pillar 26 is supported on a mat slab 23, with its load born with the mat slab 23. Here, the lower end part 27 of the pillar 26 is fitted to the mat slab 23 for free fixing/ detaching, and between the first-floor floor slab 25 and the mat slab 23, a jack placement part where a jack-up device is provided is formed.
