PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetration tester capable of obtaining accurate test data by getting loss caused by the resistance of soil. SOLUTION: In this penetration tester, test data can be obtained in the process in which a rod 7 is forced to penetrate into a ground by giving a load to the rod 7, while regarding the torque T as a loss of the load, a net load is obtained, the tester is provided with a control unit 10 correcting the test data in accordance with the net load.
