The locations of all geostationary satellites are computed by a geostationary satellite orbit computing part 08 from the orbit information of the geostationary satellite. A geostationary satellite selecting part 07 is controlled so as to obtain a geostationary satellite at the highest angle of elevation or a geostationary satellite in the closest longitude in reference to the approximate location of a GPS receiver, and to allot it with the highest priority to the geostationary satellite receiving part 05. It is possible to speedily receive the correction data of GPS satellites, etc., from the most reliably trackable geostationary satellite. It is possible to obtain highly accurate location information from the data of GPS satellites on the basis of the correction data in a short time.
