PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment that can easily display not only a name and a telephone number of a communication destination but also other various sets of information at the arrival of an incoming call from other communication equipment. SOLUTION: To a LAN 1 connected to other communication equipment D via a public/leased line network 5, a computer 2 provided with a DB section 23 storing information relating to a user of the other communication equipment D, and a telephone set 3 provided with an incoming call detection means 37 that detects an incoming call from the other communication equipment D, with a called party identification means 38 that extracts a called party identification code from the detected incoming call signal, with an information acquisition means 39 that acquires the information relating to the called party from the DB section 23 of the computer 2 on the basis of the extracted called party identification code, are connected, and the telephone set 3 acquires the information relating to the called party being the communication destination from the DB section 23 of the computer 2 when receiving an incoming call from the other communication equipment D to the telephone set 3 and displays the information onto a display section 35.
