PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for installing a coupling unit or a connector housing to a base plate in a manner that allows relative floating movement. SOLUTION: The installing device is constituted of a connector housing 46. Tightening nuts 60 are captured by the housing so as to make it movable relatively floatingly. The nuts are provided with a shank 60a that penetrates through the opening 66b of the wall of the housing extendedly to the base plate. The shank 60a of the nuts 60 is longer than the thickness of the housing wall. Engaging fixtures 62 fasten the tightening nuts 60 onto the base plate, enabling the connector housing 46 to be floatingly movable relative to the base plate 32.
