PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration auxiliary system of a particulate filter built in an exhaust system of a diesel engine of an automobile and free to memorize and renew a standard filling state. SOLUTION: An engine 1 is connected to various devices and a motion control means 17 of these various devices, the control means is constituted to start a regenerating stage of a particulate filter by combustion of particulates captured by the particulate filter while starting a multiple injection stage of fuel in a cylinder of the engine during an expansion stage, and this control means 17 includes a memory means 25 of standard filling state information of the particulate filter and a means 18 to renew the standard filling state information by measurement of a standard filling state after at least some regenerating stages of the particulate filter at least.
