PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a color filter capable of reducing generation of color mixing in manufacturing the color filter with an inkjet method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing for the color filter comprises relatively scanning an inkjet head with plural nozzles nearly arrayed in a first direction and a substrate to a second direction almost orthogonal to the first direction, ejecting inks from the inkjet head to the substrate and coloring filter elements adjacently aligned in the second direction so as to have respectively different colors. Prior to the coloring step, respective landing positions of the plural ejected inks to be ejected to the respective filter elements are measured. Based on the result of the measurement, the ejection timing for the respective plural nozzles is adjusted so as to make the plural ejected inks land on the center line of the first direction for the filter elements.
