PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a route search in consideration of a chain regulation on the basis of VICS information. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation device confirms the VICS information through an FM multiple broadcast and searches for an optimum route except a road under the chain regulation in the case of the presence of the road under the chain regulation when a driver inputs a destination to search the optimum route. When the VICS information through an optical beacon, a radio beacon or the FM multiple broadcast informs that the chain regulation is enforced on the traveling optimum route during route guidance, the navigation device automatically newly searches for an optimum route not traveling on the road under the chain regulation. |
