PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable confirmation of personal position information by a navigation device differently from a conventional driver's own vehicle position confirmation system allowing the navigation device to confirm a driver's own vehicle position. SOLUTION: In this managing system for personal position information, a person's position is calculated by use of a PHS transmitter/receiver, the personal position data is registered at a server 8, and the personal p-position data is read by use of the car navigation device 9. The person's position can be easily confirmed, application such as a route search to the person's position or retrieval of an institution present near the person can be realized on the basis of the position data, and the institution information can be provided to the person by a mail. |
