PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt transmission device capable of elastically relaxing a meshing impact in the case of high load and high speed rotation, reducing meshing noise and exhibiting excellent durability for a long service life of a toothed belt. SOLUTION: In this toothed belt transmission device for transmitting power by mutual meshing of curved meshing surfaces of a belt tooth 21 and a pulley tooth 11, tooth crest side projecting circular-arc part 21a brought into sliding contact with a dedendum side recessed circular-arc part 11a of the pulley tooth 11 and a dedendum side recessed circular-arc part 21b brought into sliding contact with a tooth crest side projecting circular-arc part 11b of the pulley tooth 11 are formed in the belt tooth 21, and a pressure angle 21αmade on the side of the belt tooth 21 is a little larger than a pressure angle 11αmade on the side of the pulley tooth 11.
