PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin electroluminescence light that is suitable for liquid crystal back light with reduced noise level. SOLUTION: A thin electroluminescence light 1 is made by making layer of a transparent electrode layer 3, a luminous layer 4, a first insulating layer 5, a back side electrode layer 6, a second insulating layer 7, a back side shield electrode layer 8 and a vibration damper layer 9, successively laminated in order on the back surface of a transparent film 2. The transparent electrode layer 3 and the back side shield electrode layer 8 are connected, and an alternating current voltage is applied on these electrode layers and the back side electrode layer 6.
