PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the problem that regarding the sale of patent rights, there is almost no standard price and no criterion for objective judgment for initial payment while nearly an appropriate price is set for the royalty. SOLUTION: In this method, patent rights by companies or individuals are sold, assigned, or transferred at an auction where members or many and unspecified persons are present. A place is arranged for the action and patentees and bidders should participate in the auction. In the auction, the bidders offer market prices and a transaction is concluded between the patentee and the bidder who offer the highest price. For one method of general advertisement, internet sites can be used. However, auctions are not performed on the internet sites.
