PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that displays reduced images in the order by which a user can easily recognize the reduced images. SOLUTION: The image display device is provide with an image pickup section 10 that picks up at least an object, an image display processing circuit 20 that conducts processing to display a picked-up image on a display device, an operation setting switch 30 that selects a function of a digital still camera 1 or the like, the display section 40 that displays an image, a DRAM 50 that temporarily stores image data or the like, a station 60 that stores data of the picked-up image, and a CPU 70 that executes storage and display of the picked-up image or the like. The CPU 70 is provided with a detection section 71 that detects at least operations, a display sequence decision section 72 that changes a display sequence of the reduced images and an image data processing section 73.
