<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection part that has excellent electric insulation properties, external-wound-resistance properties, forming properties, and flexibility, prevents harmful substances such as a halogen-family gas from being generated even if combustion is made, and is protected by a protection cover. SOLUTION: This cable connection part is composed of an insulation putty sheet 2 that is wound around the connection part of a cable conductor 1b, and protection covers 5 and 5 ' that cover the outside of the insulation putty sheet 2 for arranging. The protection covers 5 and 5 ' are formed by fire- resistance resin compositions where metal hydrate of 50 to 150 pts.wt is blended to base resin of 100 pts.wt in that at least one kind of 30 to 90 percentage by mass being selected from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and the group of ethylene-(meta) ester acrylate, and ethylene-αolefin copolymer of 10 to 70 percentage by mass with a density of 0.840 to 0.916 g/cm3 are used as main constituents.</p> |
