PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing device of an organic EL display that can form each color of three colors of luminous layers divided in simple method and that can coat an organic EL material not being contaminated. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing of organic EL display, the luminous layer is divided on the substrate having transparent electrode and the luminous pixels illuminating red, green and blue are separated and formed in the divided luminous layers and electrodes are formed on the luminous pixels which are formed respectively separated for each color. For each red, green and blue color, an organic EL material dissolved in an organic solvent is prepared in mist state in the mist generating container (101) which is substituted by an inert gas of normal atmospheric pressure (108, 118), and the organic EL material in mist state dissolved in organic solvent is transported to the substrate (112, 113) divided in each luminous pixels in a layer forming container (111) substituted by an inert gas of normal atmospheric pressure through a transport tube (119) substituted by an inert gas of normal atmospheric pressure, and coated and solidified by the drying of the above organic solvent and form a luminous film of red, green and blue color, respectively.
