PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron transporting layer material which can realize luminescence of a shorter wavelength than blue and green with respect to organic electroluminescence element. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence element comprises either of plural layers of more than one or more than two layers of an organic layer 3 comprising positive electrode/organic layer 3/negative electrode and at least one layer of either of a compound containing more than one of 2-phenylthiazol structure, a compound containing more than one of 1,4-bis(2-thiazolyl)benzene structure, a compound containing more than one of 1-phenylpirazol structure, a compound containing more than one of 1,4-bis(1-pirazolyl)benzene structure, a compound containing more than one of 2-phenylindazol structure, or a compound containing more than one of 1,4-bis(2-indazolyl)benzene structure.
