PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a connecting terminal on to a chassis simply and at low cost. SOLUTION: The connecting terminal is composed of a terminal part 2 with a male screw 2a and a flange part 4, between which, a groove 6 is formed except for the part of joint shaft. In fitting the connecting terminal 1 to a chassis 8, the connecting shaft part of the connecting terminal 1 is made to face a cut-out part 81a formed on a side wall 81 to be fitted in such a manner that one end face of the terminal part 2 and one end face of the flange part 4 pinch the inner and outer faces of a side wall of the chassis 8.
