PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide correction to a misconvergence without any increase in the cost due to addition of variable resistance in a color cathode ray tube having a deflection yoke apparatus. SOLUTION: A convergence correction coil 10 has a fixed iron core 13 and a slide iron core 14 arranged inside a bobbin 11 around which a coil 12 is wound. Sliding and moving only the slide iron core 14 adjusts the correction amount of the convergence correction coil 10, thereby eliminating misconvergence in the deflection yoke apparatus.
