The pallet-carton is produced from a cardboard blank in which two opposite walls (2, 4) have flaps (14) attached to their bottom edges which have transverse creases (21 -23) so that they can be folded to produce blocks which extend across the base of the carton. The ends of these blocks are formed by tabs (26, 28) attached to the bottom edges of the remaining walls (3, 5). The blocks allow the fork of a fork lift truck to be inserted to move the carton.
