PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly segment a partial image even in a document image with a sprocket. SOLUTION: The document image inputted by a document image input part 26 is stored in a document image memory 23. A layout discriminatining part 27 detects a barcode in the document image stored in the memory 23 and retrieves a layout database (DB) 24 based on the detected result to obtain registered information (record) corresponding to the document image. As for a prescribed position registered in the record obtained by the part 27, an image detecting/segmenting part 28 segments the position corresponding to the document stored in the memory 23 and segments the segmented partial image in an image memory 25. |
