PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular polarized wave microstrip antenna, capable of providing a desired resonance frequency or axial ratio after attaining miniaturization, while using the dielectric substrate of a great dielectric constant. SOLUTION: Concerning a circular polarized wave microstrip antenna 1, with which an almost rectangular patch electrode 2 is formed on one side of an almost rectangular dielectric substrate 4 and a ground electrode 3 is formed almost over all the other side, when a direction for watching a feeding point 5 from the center of the patch electrode 2 is 0 deg., triangular first notches 2a and 2b of degenerate separating elements are formed in the directions of 135 deg. and 315 deg., and a first electrode 2c for control extended from the edge of the patch electrode 2 to the outside is formed inside the first notch 2b. When the direction watching the feeding point 5 from the center of the patch electrode 2 is 0 deg., however, a triangular second notch 2d is formed in the direction of 45 deg. and a second electrode 2e for control extended from the edge of the patch electrode 2 to the outside is formed inside this second notch 2d.
