PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop device preventing batteries from over discharged even if repeating start and stop highly frequently and implementing a highly reliable braking operation. SOLUTION: The idling stop device is provided with a low-battery- voltage-time restarting means 1 confirming the battery voltage only during idling stopping, issuing an alarm when the battery voltage reaches the lower value necessary for starting the engine and the state is not restored for a prescribed time, confirming a transmission in a neutral position, and automatically restarting the engine; and a brake-negative-pressure-time restarting means 1 confirming the negative pressure of a brake assistor only during idle stopping and automatically restarting the engine, when the negative pressure is a prescribed value or less and the state is not restored within a prescribed time.
