PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and remove signals corresponding to radio waves projected by radar equipment on board of one's own ship on the basis of radio wave characteristics except frequency components. SOLUTION: This radio wave detecting device is provided with a signal analyzer 2 to analyze the data of signals received by a receiver 1, a radar reflected wave determining device 3A to compare the pulse widths that are the results of analysis with the pulse width corresponding to radar equipment on board of one's own ship, to determine that signals of the same pulse width are reflected waves of the radar equipment on board of one's own ship, and to determine that signals of different pulse widths are not the reflected waves of the radar equipment of one's own ship, and a radar reflected wave removing device 4 to remove the signals determined as the reflected waves of the radar equipment on board of one's own ship from the received signals.
