PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a frame synchronizing signal included in desired signals by simple constitution even in an environment where relatively large interference signals are present for instance in a receiver, a base station unit and a mobile station unit for receiving the desired signals by using plural antennas T1-Tk. SOLUTION: A generation means 3 generates sum signals corresponding to plural directions by performing plural weightings and summing signals received by the respective antennas T1-Tk. A calculation means 4 multiplies the generated respective sum signals and a prepared frame synchronizing signal pattern and calculates the correlation values of the respective sum signals and the frame synchronizing signal pattern at plural multiplication timings. A detection means 4 detects a signal position corresponding to the multiplication timing at which the maximum correlation value is calculated as the position of the frame synchronizing signal included in the desired signals.
