PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film unit equipped with a lens capable of always photographing with appropriate exposure. SOLUTION: In the film unit equipped with a lens which is provided with a strobe device including a xenon tube Xe, the unit is provided with a detection element 41 for detecting the normal light luminance level of an object, an oscillating driving circuit 32 which is actuated interlocking with the operation of an operation switch, a strobe light emitting circuit 30 constituted of a light emission tube driving circuit 33 for driving the xenon tube Xe based on the driving voltage from the circuit 32 and of a trigger circuit 34, a switching element 42 for performing the on/off control of the oscillating driving circuit 32 in accordance with the luminance level detection result by the detection element 41, a phototransistor Ph2 for receiving light which is emitted from the xenon tube Xe and reflected by the object, and the emitted light quantity control circuit 50 for controlling the emitted light quantity of the xenon tube Xe so that the object may be photographed with appropriate exposure in accordance with the quantity of the light received by the phototransistor Ph2. |
