Disclosed is a bi-directional flashlight, which emits light in a front direction and in a rear direction, so that a user can selectively and easily use the flashlight according to the user's intention and purpose. That is, when the user passes the way forwardly or looks remote objects, means mounted at a front surface of the flashlight, of which the light is reflected through a parabolic reflector, is used for irradiating a front part of the user, and to light up the user's surroundings, means mounted at a rear surface of the flashlight, which has two reflectors to reflect the light to the side parts of the flashlight and the surrounding ground, is used. The bi-directional flashlight comprises a body, a cell or a storage cell mounted inside the body, a first bulb and a parabolic reflector mounted in a front part of the body, a cell or storage cell inserted in the central part, a transparent or semitransparent cover mounted on a rear surface of the body, first and second reflectors disposed inside the cover to reflect the light of the bulb, a second bulb mounted between the first and second reflectors, and switches for selectively using the bulbs. |
