The present invention relates to substituted benzoxazoles of general formula (I) wherein R<1>, R<2> and R<3> have the meanings cited in claim 1, and Het stands for a 5- or 6-membered heterocycle bonded by nitrogen and having general formulae (II-1) to (II-18). The invention also relates to agents containing such compounds as well as to a method for combating undesired plant growth; the compounds of general formulae (III), (IV) and (V) are used as intermediate products for the production of the formula (I) compoun ds.
