The top side of the airship comprises a solar surface. Hydrogen is produced from water (from the moisture in the air) by electrolysis, and stored in an intermediate pressure container. The hydrogen is fed to a unit which generates electrical energy or drives a pump. Rotors are provided on the nose and tail, and can rotate through 360 degrees. A computer system maintains the position of the airship constant while loading and unloading. A diesel engine is installed for use in emergencies.
