The invention relates to a video sensor chip circuit, comprising light-sensitive picture elements (pixels) arranged in a matrix. Each picture element has a phototransistor whose output photo-flow is logarithmically amplified and fed to an evaluation circuit in the form of a voltage signal. According to the invention, the pixels (12) and an amplifier (22) which is arranged in each picture element (12) are monolithically integrated into a common component. The amplifier (22) is arranged outside a light-sensitive surface (14) of the video sensor chip.
