<p>An optical interference tomographic image observing apparatus in which the static or dynamic structure at a deep part of an organism can be grasped and its multi-dimensional image can be observed. The optical interference tomographic image observing apparatus comprises a rotary prism unit in which a retroreflector prism (1) having one vertex angle of 90° is provided at the circumferential part of a rotating body (4) in such a way that the plane opposite the vertex angle is generally perpendicular to the tangent of the circumference, a reflective point can be scanned in a predetermined direction as the rotating body (4) rotates utilizing the characteristics of the prism where a light beam impinging on the opposite plane is reflected in parallel with the incident direction, a light beam delay-reflected when the rotating body (4) rotates in the direction where the light beam travels and progress-reflected when the rotating body (4) rotates reversely beam is generated periodically as the rotating body rotates.</p> |
