The optical fibre switch element has a movable optical fibre (1) cooperating with at least one stationary optical fibre (4,6), under control of a switching body (2), with an adjustment structure (8) provided with reference surfaces for each of the optical fibres, allowing their longitudinal displacement. The adjustment structure is mounted on a support (11) having a thermal expansion coefficient corresponding to that of the optical fibres.
