The invention relates to a device (1) for ventilating the vehicle panes (11) in a vehicle (2). The inventive device comprises a frame section (4) of a motor vehicle body which frame section extends in a pane zone and can be covered with a paneling element (6) with respect to the interior (5). An air duct (7) is provided in the zone between the frame section (4) and the paneling element (6), said air duct being coupled with a deformation element (10) and being provided with at least one outlet nozzle (12) directed to an associated vehicle pane (11). The deformation element (10) comprises a deformation plate (9) that at least partially covers the air duct (7) in at least one impact zone (8) in such a manner that, in said impact zone, the air duct (7) and the deformation plate (9) together form the deformation element (10).
