<p>Community ratings (figure 2) are determined for users (124) of an electronic marketplace. In a typical configuration, the community rating (234) of an individual reflects the individual's reputation in the electronic community, for example, feedback rating (134) as well as the reputations of the users the individual sponsors (125, 126) and the reputations of each user they sponsor. Various methodologies are provided for determining a community rating, such as aggregating feedback ratings, or weighting or thresholding these feedback ratings.</p> |
