The cover includes a carrier body (2) fitted with a retro-reflecting foil (1), which is held more than 1 cm in front of a sign surface area (6). A box profile (3) is connected with a thigh of a U-shaped profile (4), and is screwed (7) by means of a clamping device (5) on the other thigh of the profile at the profile frame of the sign (6). A turn of the entire fixture around 45 degrees is preferably enabled through diagonally mounted slots in the U-shaped profile.
