PURPOSE: A mobile terminal containing a laser pointer is provided to reduce the number of a user's personal effects by attaching a laser pointer to the upper part of a mobile terminal so that the mobile terminal can be used both as a portable phone and a laser pointer. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal containing a laser pointer is composed of a laser beam generation part(24), a prism(22), an optical fiber(20), and a lens(16). The laser beam generation part(24) generates laser beams. The prism(22), installed at the lower part of a rod antenna(14), diffracts the laser beams generated from the laser beam generation part(24) at an angle of 90 deg. when the rod antenna is extended to the external. The optical fiber(20), installed in the inside of the rod antenna(14), conveys the laser beams diffracted through the prism(22) to the lens(16). The lens(16), installed at the upper end of the rod antenna(14), condenses the laser beams delivered through the optical fiber(20).
